Movimientos Artisticos y Literarios
Question 1: Describe this project. What did you do?
A: Throughout this project we were supposed to first find a Spanish speaking artist that had influenced a movement and characteristic during an era. The artist I chose is, Joaquin de Rivera, his art was during the Romantic era and he displayed his paintings through landscaping. The landscaping showed movement through naturalism. With that said, I found a painting of Joaquin's, this painting was of a very colorful forest with aspen and pine trees. Once I had a image to go off of, I recreated the art piece by painting it onto a canvas.
Question 2: What were some challenges you faced throughout this project?
A: During this project I faced minimal challenges with the art piece, although a challenge I faced was finding the name, date and location my piece that I was researching, this made it difficult to do further research on this specific art piece.
Question 3: If you had the opportunity to redo this project or extend it further, what would you do?
A: I could have gone a little deeper with my knowledge and background of this art project and the artist I chose to work off of. Otherwise, I am pretty content with how my final piece turned out and the knowledge I did pick up from the the artist Joaquin de Rivera.
